We received an invitation from Brseč to organize another private evening in a series! Although we traveled all over Istria, as well as a good part of Croatia, this was our first visit to this beautiful place.
The challenge was to organize a multi-course dinner for 8 people, 2 of whom are vegan. Read below what was deliciously eaten at this unforgettable dinner, and here are a few pictures to capture the atmosphere.
Private dinners menu
The host’s wish was a dinner for 8 people in 5 courses, including dessert. For 6 people, the host ordered a fish menu, and the remaining 2 people enjoyed vegan specialties.
The first course consisted of ceviche sea bass and smoked chlorophyll, zucchini carpaccio, citrus and olive oil emulsion. The second course consisted of oven-baked turmeric octopus arms and vegetable tempura. The third course consists of potato frittata (egg yolk, prosciutto, gamberi) and mushroom ragout. The last course was tuna cubes with side dishes and sunflower dumplings with peas and tomato.
The sugar ended up in an unforgettable dessert consisting of chocolate fudge with ice cream and white chocolate, black pancakes, chocolate and almond ice cream.
