Did you know that local olive oil is considered best in the world? Have you heard about Istrian wine sort “malvazija”? Are you familiar with the fact that forest of Istria hide one of the most expensive white and black truffles? All of that you will try in our cooking classes.

Cooking class is the perfect combination of cooking and fun where, with the help of a professional chef, you can see first-hand how the locals live and eat.

Every class consist of a visit to a green market (fresh ingredients for meals), cookingwine and olive oil tasting, hanging out and enjoying what you cooked (3 meals: starters, main course, dessert) in relaxed atmosphere.

Suitability: couples, families (kids included), small and large groups…

Prior cooking knowledge: NO needed

Groups: intended for small groups (4-16), also possible for large groups of up to 30 people max.

Duration: 4 hours (you can choose from morning (10-14h) or afternoon (17-21h)

Private dinners are usually for 5 do 15 people, but we have opportunity to cook them for 45 people. Motive can be birthday celebration, anniversaries, gourmet experience or something else. Usually we cook for guests or owners in their holiday homes, villas and yachts in whole Istria and Croatia, but it can be also organised in restaurant in Pula. Rent a chef offers a variety of cusines such as istrian, croatian, italian, asian or mediterranean. We can also accommodate to any special dietary requirments such as vegetarian, vegan, halal, gluten free or kosher. All you have to do is ask and we will prepare the menu to satisfy your preference. He is a cooking enthusiast with 30 years of experience in gastronomy. The turning point was his stay in London, where he ran his own restaurant for years. After that experience, he brought first molecular gastronomy in Croatia with the famous restaurant "Le Mandrac" in Volosko. He cooks for numerous presidential delegations, and recently had the opportunity to cook for the Vatican and the Pope. He is loved by many because of his humor and friendliness.
