While traveling through Europe, two families made a stop in Istria—specifically, in Rovinj.
After visiting Austria and Italy, they headed to Croatia’s most developed tourism region. In addition to Rovinj, they visited Motovun, Brijuni, and Pula, and were left impressed by the beauty and tourism offerings of Istria.
For their stay in Istria, they rented a luxury villa in the center of Rovinj. The villa, with its decoration and surroundings, was breathtaking and offered a million-dollar view of Rovinj’s old town.
The family was approachable and friendly, and we were surprised by their great interest in local gastronomy and culture.
Istrian food experience
They asked us to showcase the best dishes from istrian and mediterranean cuisine. Istria Cooking team fulfilled the task with a three-course dinner.
We showcased the finest local ingredients through an istrian platter. Local cheese, prosciutto, homemade sausages, and olives delighted our hosts. The platter was complemented by tuna pâté—a recipe that never fails to impress our clients.
Homemade pasta with prawns was the perfect choice for the rest of the evening. After a nutritious appetizer, these light bites were a real treat for the two families.
For dessert, we served tiramisu, which vanished from everyone’s plates in an instant.
