We truly enjoy hosting private dinners in villas and holiday homes. This time, too, we had a wonderful culinary experience with a lovely family.
Although we have cooked for people from all over the world, this was our first time hosting a spanish family for a private dinner.
A Private Dinner in Kršan
The family had rented a beautiful villa for their holiday in Croatia. The holiday home impressed us immediately, as it was situated at the edge of the village, surrounded by nature.
Located in the area around Kršan, it serves as a fresh reminder of the undiscovered charms and beauty of the entire Labin region.
Mediterranean dishes and street food bites
For the appetizer, we prepared a few small bites.The guests were delighted by our chicken burgers, served with vegetables and our signature sauces.
They also found it quite interesting to try a local specialty: polenta with skuta, a type of fresh curd cheese.
We served our own take on a Greek salad—a dish that consistently earns praise from all our guests. Additionally, we prepared mozzarella sticks and tortilla pizzas for the appetizer course.
A match made in heaven—pasta with prawns, tossed in a signature sauce—was served as the main course.
You can never go wrong with cheesecake, so we served that for dessert, topped with a wild berry coulis.
