A magical estate in Istria
The venue for the private dinner was truly spectacular. A beautiful house with a huge property surrounded by greenery and overlooking the Raša bay exceeded all expectations.
The celebration gathered around 60 people. Most of the guests were from Germany, England and the Netherlands, but there were people from all over Europe. Guests enjoyed sunbathing, swimming in the pool, playing tennis on the large court and in the beautiful greenery.
Our task was to prepare a private dinner in 3 courses with local traditional food.
Istrian and Mediterranean specialties
Guests enjoyed local specialties. It was the first time for most of them to try istrian cuisine, and they had a lot of praise for it. Most of the guests enjoyed meat and fish specialties with the addition of several vegan and gluten free menus.
For starters, we served zucchini carpaccio and tuna carpaccio. The main dish was istrian pasta pljukanci with mushrooms combination. The absolute winner of the evening was grilled sea bass with side dishes, which delighted those present.
Vegans and vegetarians enjoyed plant-based tortillas and grilled vegetables.
For dessert, we served chocolate fudge with forest fruit topping.
