It’s nice when you work with someone successfully for many years. We prepared catering for the happy couple on several birthdays, private dinners and other events. The couple are true gourmets, lovers of fine dining and trying unusual combinations.
Birthday celebration
So far, we have done birthday catering on countless occasions. We did them all over Croatia, mostly in Istria and Kvarner. They always make us happy again and again because it’s an opportunity to be creative and let our imagination run wild.
This time the task was to prepare food for a birthday party where there were about 10 guests. We also took care of the drinks, service and decoration of the table and space.
Delicacies on the menu: From tuna to beef cheeks
The menu has a combination of different delicacies. Tuna cubes were visually enticing, and they also won over the guests with their taste. Beef cheeks are a specialty that leaves true gourmets breathless, so it was the same this time. The repertoire includes polenta and prawns.
Meat carpaccio was also one of the delicacies. Caesar salad with chicken and Parmesan cheese was also on the menu, and mozzarella and tomatoes were a great addition.

Private birthday dinner by Istria Cooking
Istria Cooking provides the service of organizing private dinners, which includes the preparation of food by a private chef in the form of meals and/or catering.
The chef prepares food in the space of your choice (apartment, holiday home, etc.), and the celebrants choose traditional and international dishes or specific diets (vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten-free dishes).
In addition to food preparation, the celebration can also include service (e.g. waiters), equipment (e.g. cutlery) and special food and drink preparation (barbecue or pizza, cocktail preparation, food truck…) and music (karaoke, dj or bend).
