Pula is known for its gladiator history. This especially applies to the Pula Arena, where gladiator fights took place over a thousand years ago. This Roman legacy still attracts attention, so various events are still held in honor of these brave fighters.
Catering for an event
The event dedicated to the Gladiators took place in the Kaštel fortress. This fortress was built during the time of the Venetians, and over time it had other rulers from Austro-Hungarians, Italians to Yugoslavs.
