A client from Zagreb hired us to organize the celebration. Usually, at catering events, we cover everything related to food, but this time we also had additional tasks.
First birthday celebration
We organized the celebration of the child’s first birthday. Our task was to prepare food, drinks, service, bake pizza on-site, decorate the tables & outdoor space and provide necessary equipment (chairs, tables…).
Venue decoration
The celebration venue was the family house in Rovinj. It was an outdoor party since the celebration took place in the courtyard and covered terrace on the ground floor.
We had to provide and decorate tables and chairs, high tables, a bar, a sweet table…
Children’s corner
What would a children’s party be without a small corner for children. This time, since the party took place outdoors, children could enjoy climbing frames, swings, and part of the tables were decorated accordingly.
Picnic blankets and pillows on the grass were enjoyed by children and adults alike.
Birthday food
Pizzas were the star of the evening among children and adults. Our chef baked them on the spot in the yard.
What kind of party in Istria would it be without prosciutto and cheese! None, so we prepared plates with istrian food specialties in the form of cheese, prosciutto and salami for the guests.
Among the specific dishes, the guests enjoyed homemade pasta with istrian ox beef boškarin.

Istria Cooking provides the service of organizing birthday party catering, which includes the preparation of food by a private chef in the form of meals and/or catering.
The chef prepares food in the space of your choice (apartment, holiday home, etc.), and the celebrants choose traditional and international dishes or specific diets (vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten-free dishes).
