Each of our private dinners is special. We prepared a unique gourmet experience for this family. In return, we received a beautiful story about family and love and fond memories from their youth.
Private dinner in Umag
As usual, this family engaged us during their vacation. They rented a villa for their stay in Istria. This family chose Umag as the location, one of the Croatian tourist pearls.
The reason for the gathering was the celebration of a lady who entered her late 70s.
Istrian specialties
The Swedish family brought home good impressions of the istrian food we prepared for them. For an appetizer, we served them charcuterie boards with the best Istrian small bites.
They fell in love with the selection of cheeses, prosciutto, homemade sausage with truffles, rosemary and olives with the addition of nuts and grapes.
Of course, nothing could go without local wines, so the Swedish family enjoyed white wine, specifically Malvasia.
A dish for true gourmets was beef cheeks with grilled vegetables. The guests were pleasantly surprised by the softness of the meat, which is not surprising considering the technique we chose, which is cooking in a vacuum.
Vegan specialties
Part of the company were vegans, so we prepared plant-based specialties for them. One of the dishes was a vegan curry, which the guests really liked.
