Namely, this region follows the fact that Croatia has profiled itself as a serious destination for weddings, especially in European contexts.
In addition to the sea and the sun, Kvarner also has a lot of content that newlyweds can enjoy.
For weddings, Austro-Hungarian villas, holiday homes and weddings on the Kvarner islands and outdoors in nature are very popular. The choice for a wedding most often falls on Opatija and the surrounding towns (Lovran, Ika, Ičići), Rijeka, Kastav and island Krk.

Our wedding in the Austro-Hungarian villa
The newlyweds booked us for a wedding in beautiful Lovran. Our task was to prepare food, drinks, bar and desserts. We also took care of the staff and decorations for the wedding of about 20 people.
The setting was a beautiful Austro-Hungarian villa. The courtyard with beautiful greenery and a swimming pool is where most of the action took place.
The guests enjoyed the wedding until the early morning with a view of the beautiful sea.
Wedding menu for food lovers
The newlyweds chose a menu from which it is evident that they are food lovers and knows gastronomy very well. Today’s trend is to enjoy in a new experiences and to make something special and unique for special occasions.
Our chef Deniz Zembo and the team of chefs really enjoyed preparing the food for this wedding.
Welcome snacks and drinks
As a welcome and the chef’s introduction to the dinner, the guests were served an amouse bouche with a glass of champagne.
The guests were simply delighted by the tartar cones. Their visual presentation always captivates with its performance, and the guests could enjoy meat, fish and vegetable tartar.
A mix of fish and meat specialties
Octopus in forno was served as the first course of this exciting wedding dinner. Side dishes were Mediterranean vegetables, capers, black olive powder, and the emulsion was made from citrus fruits.
The guests continued with tuna cubes with black garlic cream, smoked yogurt with cauliflower and microgreens.
The new frittata was probably the winner of the night. Presenting the local in a modern way is always interesting. Fritaja with Kvarner shrimp with asparagus and prosciutto was very tasty.
The real specialty closed the evening, and it was beef cheeks.
Sweet table
Sweet tables have recently become an indispensable part of weddings.
Desires can be different, and the newlyweds can choose between cake mix, cream in a glass, princess donuts, muffins, single portions, fruit salads.
Of course, the cake is an integral part of the wedding, and you can see in the picture what we prepared for our newlyweds.
